At The Haven, we often celebrate life's biggest moments; welcoming babies into the world, seeing mothers achieve personal goals, and watching hope replace uncertainty.
But sometimes the milestones that deserve celebrating aren't the loudest. They're quiet ones that represent stability, perseverance, healing, and growth.
This month, we celebrate one of those milestones.
For the very first time in The Haven's history, one of our residents reached 100 days postpartum while continuing her journey in our home.
It may sound like a simple number, but behind those 100 days are countless moments of learning, encouragement, sleepless nights, victories, and new beginnings.
Because of supporters like you, mothers don't simply survive difficult circumstances, they're given the opportunity to grow into confident, capable parents while surrounded by love, encouragement, and Christ-centered care.

Celebrating 100 Days
One hundred days ago, this precious little one entered the world.
Today, we celebrate not only a happy, thriving baby, but also the incredible journey of a young mother who has continued building a stable future while living at The Haven.
This milestone represents exactly why The Haven exists.
When a young mother has safe housing, caring mentors, practical resources, and a supportive community around her, she can focus on what matters most; loving her baby, growing in confidence, and preparing for the future.

Volunteer Spotlight
Help a Resident Reach Independence
One of the greatest gifts you can give someone is the opportunity to become independent.
Many of the young women we serve are working toward earning their driver's license; a critical step toward employment, education, medical appointments, and long-term stability.
While residents can obtain their learner's permits, many face a significant challenge: they don't have access to a vehicle or a parent or family member who can provide the supervised practice required before taking their road test.
That's where compassionate volunteers can make a tremendous difference.
We're Looking For:
Individuals who are willing to:
- Volunteer a few hours of their time.
- Use their own insured vehicle.
- Accompany a Haven resident while she practices driving.
- Help a young mother gain the confidence and experience needed to successfully earn her driver's license.
You do not need to be a certified driving instructor.
You simply need a caring heart and a willingness to invest in someone working toward independence.
